David Moloney worked in the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections, New Hampshire, from 2007 to 2011 before obtaining his degree in English from University of Massachusetts, Lowell. He teaches at the University now and has just published his debut book Barker House. The novel (or are they stories?) is told in ten distinct sections with voices from inside a prison. He wanted to explore how corrections officers lives bleed into the work and vice versa.
