Adrienne Raphel is a Lecturer at Princeton University’s writing program where she previously studied. She also has a PhD in English from Harvard and an MFA from Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Needless to say, she loves words. For her debut longform non-fiction book, Thinking Inside The Box, she wrote about the compelling world of crosswords. From their history, to the people who create them, to the fanatics who go to a yearly tournament in Connecticut, the book weaves together multiple stories in unexpected ways.
