Phuc Tran was born in Sài Gòn Việt Nam and grew up in rural Pennsylvania. There he learned to love punk rock and became even more of a misfit than he already was. Flash forward a few decades and he is a tattoo artist living in Maine after having spent two decades teaching Latin. His debut memoir Sigh, Gone: A Misfit’s Memoir about Great Books, Punk Rock, and the Fight to Fit In chronicles his early life in a unique way.
