Abundance by Jakob Guanzon follows a father who is down to his last dollars. The book follows him (and his bank account) as he struggles to keep his son safe while trying to figure out how to make enough money just to survive. Told in vivid and urgent prose, Abundance is more than a book about money. It’s also a book about the softness found in a father and son’s relationship.
