Revision Bootcamp: From The End to The Next Step
$400
8 Wednesdays, 3/18/2026-5/6/2026 | 7:00-9:00pm ET | Virtual
In this bootcamp, suited for writers who’ve completed at least a first draft of their fiction manuscript, we’ll move through the process of a developmental revision. Over the course of eight weeks, we will complete short readings and use them to discuss how to assess and refine beginnings, create and maintain plot arcs, control pacing, find the right POV, improve characterization, enhance setting, and finesse endings. We will also work through a series of short exercises that will help students create and implement revision plans, as well as engage in creating community and accountability tracking with others. By the end of the eight weeks, students will have revised a significant portion of their manuscript and have a plan to complete any remaining work.
